Hi, first of all, thanks for making the best "mod" for Assetto Corsa.
I have a Suggestion, this Idea came to me because always when I open a car in CM Showroom I end up turning on the lights and changing the steering angle before I look at the cars (or take pictures of them) because I prefer to see them like that, my suggestion would be that we could save the "Car Params" to a within CM Showroom similarly to the way we can do in the Update Showroom function. (...which is an AMAZING function!! I have hundreds of cars and hate when all previews are different).

arand4 Hi, I'm sorry to bring this up again, but recently I thought about the same suggestion again, the idea being to be able to save the Car Params to the showroom preset so that every time I open the CM Showroom headlights are automatically on for all cars, I was going to post this when I noticed that I already had done this over two years ago, but unfortunately without a response.

Hi @x4fab ! I have bought a license for CM but the version i see is 0.8.2297.38573 while checking the blog latest version is 0.8.2329.38887....i thought the license will includes updates of CM.. doesn't it?

hi @x4fab - is it possible to replace a custom showroom "world" texture in CM_Showroom somehow?

Here is what I have found so far. my showoom objects/textures are clickable in the cm showroom. the path to those textures are undefined (think export textures from world objects). not like the car, where the textures are accessible and exportable. I tried to place the texture in the car folder (to link it to the 'local' car showroom view), i tried to follow the track skin and extension conventions for showroom, tried placing the texture in the root showroom folder. none of that worked. I was hoping to understand if there are some extension config entries for replacing shaders that could work on showroom and what that would look like. if we can just read the texture from a directory / car ui preferably. This showroom will be great for car modelers who would like to showcase their cars for release. I can of course rebuild the showroom for every car and author, but its not scalable. it would be perfect as we could then automate the of use the car badge, car name and author logo in the showroom

leBluem I installed the Simplygon update, but it doesn't change a thing. It still says that my license requires me to have the latest version...

Edit - Already fixed it, forgot to remove the old version of Simplygon. Then CM would ask for a link to the new version.

I wonder which other options are available?

Any ideas what can cause a bug that almost every track-mod loads into the game with UI, textures and car position problmes? So it's unplayable...

@x4fab I found a problem with Bonnet View/TV pod view in the case of F1 cars in AC. For some F1 cars like Ferrari F2004 and Formula Hybrid 2021, When you look to right or left from TV pod cam / Bonnet Cam View, because of the position of the cam, we can see clipping through the textures. and we can see some left over textures on the side,
I played with Near plane Settings.. and this is what I come up with..

0.05, 10 near plane fixes the sides of the cockpit view from clipping, but messes up the sides in tv pod cam

0.13, 10 near plane fixes the sides of the tv pod view but messes up the sides of the cockpit view.

If CM or CSP knows which view you are in.. depending on the view, can we changes the near plane values based on which view you are in.. but only for bonnet cam/tv pod cam & Cockpit view.

Like 0.05,10 in cockpit & 0.15,10 in tv pod view. (These values fixes the texture clipping in both the cam views)

as this doesn't touch the data.acd file and we can play online too.

I hope you can implement two different values for Near Plane for 2 different cams.

Hey everyone, I recently got an error on the tyre machine. It crashes down Content Manager whenever I try to make new tyres and whenever I try to set an existing trained machine, it gives the "The type initializer for 'FannWrapperDouble.fanndoublePINVOKE' threw an exception." pop-up. I tried redownloading CM, reinstalling the tyre machine plugin, and cleaning out the AppData folder of CM but to no avail. Anyone had this problem before and know the solution to this?

a suggestion for the content manager. making it easier for everyone for when you want to join a server in the list but dont have the car and or track or skins. to automatically download them from the host with a button option to download and also give host the option on server side to allow such downloads or disable them. just makes it easier instead of looking and searching for links.

Hello. I have a problem with content manager,
when restarting the computer, the content update popped up.
