menos thank you for the feedback!
I’ve adjusted cockpit dimming in v17, please try, is it better? Also, there was that bug where I set values for 911 Carrera S and didn’t bother checking other cars.
Just as an info: own backfire will nicely illuminate the car and track.
Oh, I’ll think about it, good idea, but it’s not a bug at the moment — at first, those backfires lit interior way too bright. Looked funny, but a bit distracting at turns.
I think as a feature it would be useful to have a version where users with lower powered PCs can choose how many cars appear with dynamic head lights.
Of course, all the settings will be there, later, on CM integration stage.
Another thing: cars without headlights currently show headlights (i.e. Lotus 49).
As well as lights position/color, on per car/skin basis, that’ll be adjustable (and would work much better out-of-the-box, CM can guess where lights should be pretty good) as well.
Is this an issue with the mod track or can this be solved with the dynamic lights patch?
Nope, it’s just me not finishing patching all the shaders. 23 are ready, 9 to go.
It would be an awesome feature in the future to be able to simulate daylight driving lights + regular headlights + far lights and be able to switch them with user definable keyboard short cuts if that is possible to implement.
Would be nice, but existing cars don’t support it, and it would took way too much time to patch them all.
tajskapulapka yes, of course, speculars will be optional, that’s easy to implement. Please, try v17, maybe it’ll run better?
humblegeorge sorry, just click on version number, or on the link next to it to start downloading and installing mod in CM straight away.
76561198098478764 not yet, but as soon as lights will be customizable per-car, it’s all will be doable.
Also, I think you need to either change PP-filter, adjust it, or just reduce exposure with Page Down. It seems way too bright.
