Content Manager Fatal Error

Content manager was working extremely well today and all of a sudden steam decided to Randomly uninstall an all of a sudden, a Fatal Error Saying
system.Exceptions: AcRootDirectory is required at AcManager.tools.Managers.AcRootDirectory.get_requiredValue
At AcManager.tools.Data.PatchHelper.GetRootDirectory() at
AcManager.tools.Data.Patchhelper.GetConfigFilename(String Configname) at
...well you get the point but i Need someone to explain and guide me how to fix it without making it Complicated for me thank you.. this been bugging me since Evening time

hey guys so i kind of figured out that i downloaded the Content manager from https://acstuff.ru/app/ and download from google drive and it should work... i tried it and should be back to normal for now

then the option where you want to put the content manager directory which of course is ac should pop up and click ok

Interested because fatal error appeared when i change AC directory , i said me restart application and crash :/

What i did was i verified my game twice, made sure nothing was broken then i deleted content manager and downloaded it from this site made it sure it ran on administrative then it popped up the directory for content manager i clicked ok and it went back to normal not sure why yours isn't doing same

Alright so a bit of an update for me. Instead of clicking direct download on https://acstuff.ru/app/ I instead tried Mickeymouze5 suggestion of using google drive. After I downloaded the zip file I extracted it my Assetto Corsa install directory.

For you the address should be the drive you installed it to and then "SteamLibrary\SteamApps\common\assettocorsa"

After I extracted it I navigated to the folder itself clicked on the content manager.exe and it opened up just fine.
Hopefully this fixes your issue as well.

hello i have a error and it said "NEEDS TO BE SET"
Windows cannot find '"Nedds to be set"". Make sure you spelled the name correctly, then try again
