x4fab I didn't realize that my launcher was switched back to the default Official launcher, maybe it must have reset when I updated Content Manager.

Well it works now, I guess I will have to keep in my mind to check my launcher after each update.

DonutThing oh, that was the problem? Great, I’ll just change the default mode to AppID now when AC’s development is finished and I don’t think there’ll be any more surprises which could break AppID starter.

I tried to contact the developer through the official AC forum but I've been told he's more easily reached here.

Is it possible to "separate" the different sessions of a race weekend? By default, if you start a race weekend, you must complete it in a row in order to save your entire progress. You cannot quit right after qualyfing without losing your qualy result, which is a huge bummer if you don't have plenty of time to waste.

I thought about the possibility of saving the results, oponents, settings and track choice of a previous qualy session, and set up a race with that. Hopefully this could also work with custom championships, which seem like a great feature for players like me who are not very good at driving, and also like to play with older cars and select tracks instead of the GT3 cars and modern tracks that everyone use online.

genaralage sorry, I don’t quite follow, what do you mean by it not synchronizing? You can press End button to toggle auto-centering of the car, by the way, it would take into account FOV and car dimensions.

I don’t really want to copy vanilla’s orbiting behavior — first of all, with it’s smoothness and laziness, accumulation AA would start to work with a huge delay. And also, imo, it feels a bit unresponsive.

In the vanilla showroom the orbiting camera went around the car on an even axis. In the custom showroom I currently face the problem that the camera also goes up and down and does not synchronize after one spin around the car. It also sometimes hits the ground and cant go further down, looks really weird.

Basically, I want to know how I can get the camera to rotate evenly, similar to the vanilla showroom.

genaralage oh, you talking about auto-rotation? Yeah, that’s a huge mess, funnily, it’s still the same code that was here, and back then, I wrote it quickly to test shaders before it even had mouse control. I’m going to remake it from scratch into something, hopefully, with a bit of Gran Turismo vibe in it. Randomly moving around some splines, close ups, all customizable, that kind of stuff.

UPD: And, for orbiting, you’d be able to create a closed circular spline the way you want it to be, just one.

It would be enough if we could limit the amount of movement. The vanilla showroom only spins around the car in a circle without going up or down for instance.

Being able to let it orbit freely but end up at the same location after a certain amount of spins would help too

@x4fab could you please tell me where is the fuel usage multiplier in the event settings for the AI? or CM doesn't have such option

m3gt2 first of all, you need to enable it in Settings/Drive, at the bottom (or just search for “limitations”). Then, open extended racing grid popup and make it wider (I need to somehow highlight it when something is hidden due to window’s size, that’s for sure). There, you should see a new column.

@x4fab Hi, what are your future developments in terms of custom championships? i have been making my own championships and i have been wondering if it is possible to determine race length in terms of time instead of laps, and to add mandatory pit stop option... Also, i am using Assetto4Seasons weather and it can't be used in custom championship the way it was intended since any weather you choose it just resets to "random", and you can't choose other day times apart from the default ones (you can't choose night time). Are you going to further develop custom championships?
On a question apart, do you think it is possible to develop rolling starts some day in AC?

WilliamRiker hi, I’ve just updated CM, could you please check if weather in user championships work better now? As for timed races, mandatory pit stop and rolling starts, AC doesn’t have those options… Maybe I’ll find a way to modify it in a way similar to how I’m making lights appear, but I can’t really promise anything, all that thing is very new to me.

Yes, of course, at the moment they’re quite buggy. Mostly because of their sort of compatibility with the original launcher, I think. That might’ve been a mistake.
