Paul Thx, i did a test with v1.21 with the same issue.
After the load of the track and the car, i'm stuck with the loading screen and acs.exe is increasing the use of ram.
The only thing i can see in the "custom_shaders_patch.log" is that the patch looks for some files in "Documents\Assetto Corsa\cfg\extension" but this directory does not exist.

piermario67riva I'm using "Moonlight" weather and PP filter. I made a test with default PP and mid clear weather from Kunos, but it's the same result.

Sorry for the lack and unreliability of the updates, but now I got much closer to finishing that Tyres FX thing:

lmullerhanssen I’ll try to find a way to read configs later, but for now, custom per-car config would do the trick.

i downloaded v21, great update.

small issues, cars with rpm in wheel, like 458gt3 cast the red-light of rpm on the street in cockpit-view. looks strange if you hit the rpm-wall and the tarmac turns red

if i put SPECULAR_MULTIPLIER high, i can see it better, but is it normal that from far it looks like a round spot and the nearer the car reaches your view (in replay), the round spot gets divided into 2 spots, slowly. should it be like that?

JL50 that is really strange, I haven’t even got to RPM lights yet, I mean, not at all. There are red lights for brakes and white for headlights… I’ll check, but just in case, could it be a PP-filter’s glare?

menos hmm, what about a public channel in Telegram? Or, maybe, Twitter? I don’t really want to put preview builds in anywhere too public, like RD, since most of them are probably really buggy, way buggier than usual.

@x4fab could you please keep sharing the links to new builds either here in the thread or through Content Manager or maybe on Racedepartment.com ?

I have absolutely no way to access discord. Discord is an absolutely impossible PITA to deal with here with endless loops of account verification, not sent verification mails and connection issues when being forced to use VPNs.

I have now completely given up on Discord - it sucks just too bad :-(

Anybody could maybe share the last build here on the thread for people who have np access to discord?

x4fab I have not tried out Telegram but basically all new social media platforms do have some sort of issue or another when having to deal out of countries with internet censorship and troubles with VPNs :-(
The thread here is perfect - works just fine and is (thus far) not blocked by the authorities.

I understand you would like to stay away from more public uploads - makes complete sense.

Do you think it would be possible in the future to use the Content Manager software as the platform to receive adding, plugins, WIP bits and pieces?
THAT would be amazing.

x4fab oh, yep, it was the glare-effect. i tried re-create magic-bloom via pp-filter, doesnt eat that much gpu.

menos oh, censorship, I know how it is, just recently bought myself an account in some VPN service. Although here, they’re not that strict to ban things like Discord and Twitter (Telegram’s IPs are already being hunted though).

I’ll think about adding something to CM, I think maybe it could fit in there somehow… It already has the base for mods updates, so if I add generic mods in there, it could work.

THE INSTALLION VIA CM FAILS!!!

While using GME the game "crashes" when i start practice,race...etc

The game even registers the mod like in the bottom left corner it says "custom shaders patch v1.21" or "custom shaders patch v.1.19" but it still just pops me back to the menu.

Do i maybe have to modify or create another file to suit the particular car? I'm using the Sprinter Trueno from the Japanese pack.
